The Oyster Shed
Introduction
Steamy lobster bisque, kippers, whisky-smoked salmon, dressed crab, langoustines, mussels and scallops grilled in garlic butter. And shucked oysters of course, simply served with a slice of lemon. The spit’n’sawdust oyster shed up a dirt track from the village of Carbost on the Minginish Peninsula is now legendary, diners clustered round picnic tables under a lean-to with a sea loch-view tucking into fresh no-frills-needed seafood.
